5 Pinoy boxers featured in Pinoy Pride XXIII

MANILA, Philippines – Five Filipino fighters will come together to represent the country in “Pinoy Pride XXIII: Filipino Kontra Latinos” on Saturday. WBO world light-flyweight champion Donnie Nietes will defend his title against Sammy “Guty” Guetierrez of Mexico in a fight which he is dedicating to his kids. Same goes for WBO world minimumweight champion Merlito Sebillo, who will try to keep his record clean. Milan Melindo and AJ Banal, on the other hand, are determined to bring back their weight division titles as they compete against Jose Alfredo Rodriguez of Mexio and Lucian Gonzales of Puerto Rico, respectively.
