Philippine peace negotiations resume

The Philippine government will resume talks with Communist rebels in Norway on Tuesday. The talks were last held six years ago.<br /><br />The New People's Army, which has been waging a guerrilla war for more than 40 years, declared a temporary truce during the negotiations.<br /><br />But, as Al Jazeera's Marga Ortigas reports from Manila, recent developments have cast a shadow over the talks.
