Rian Johnson to direct new trilogy of 'Star Wars' films

"Star Wars" will be getting an entirely new trilogy, courtesy of Disney director Rian Johnson. Johnson will write and direct the first installment in the new trilogy, with his longtime producer Ram Bergman set to produce the films. The new trilogy will focus on a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored.” No release dates have been given for any of the films.
