Its June 30 today <br />The moment of 'someday' <br />For people like me <br />Craving for hopes <br />That someday will be 'Today'. <br /> <br />Its seems just a fairy tale, <br />When even Pres. Ninoy never feel <br />of leading Philippines <br />and be the 15th president <br />wavering the freedom aim, <br />by all Filipinos, now its <br />no longer a dream <br />but a precious reality <br />and gem of his parents' legacy. <br /> <br />Nerve recoiling in every spine, <br />As the confetti spread like rain <br />In that memorable Quirino grandstand <br />In the thunderous Ninoy's voice, <br />' Kayo ang Boss Ko, Mamamayang Pilipino' <br />In his determination to wipe out <br />Graft and corruption, red tapes, and abuse, <br />Equality among all men, <br />Expertise in his governance, <br />Confidence to all his countrymen, <br />Cooperation by his fellowmen. <br /> <br />Viva Philippines, <br />Freedom comes in great delight, <br />Viva Pres. Ninoy Aquino! <br />You're our long-awaited hero, <br />to lead us out from the past history <br />of turmoil in craving for power, <br />A power of one family, <br />Now, your family is now <br />A family of freedom long-lost, <br />But you grab it back for us, <br />to believe the change is here, <br />The change is now <br />and the change begins <br />Because you're there<br /><br />Susan T.
